Rebuild AUD in sequence. First, learn the audit timeline: acceptance, planning, risk assessment, internal control understanding, substantive procedures, completion, and reporting. Second, connect assertions to procedures. Third, study report modifications and review or compilation differences. Finally, mix questions across all domains.

At fictional Brookhaven Textiles, revenue completeness is the risk. The auditor should trace from shipping documents to recorded sales, not merely inspect invoices already recorded. That one example teaches phase, assertion, and evidence direction. AUD becomes easier when you ask what risk the procedure addresses.

Use multiple-choice in two passes. In pass one, answer slowly and write why each wrong answer is wrong. In pass two, use timed mixed sets to build exam stamina. If you miss the same concept three times, pause and reread the standard explanation before continuing.
