How should I prepare for an internal-audit interview so I sound operational, not generic?

A real Reddit thread titled 'Popular IA Interview Question Test of Design vs Test of Operating effectiveness' raised a practical CIA or internal-audit issue that deserves a cleaner decision framework than the usual forum back-and-forth. I want the exam-ready or career-ready version of the problem using the actual source signal rather than generic advice. Source context: I always face a question how do you perform TOD. Though I work on sox but not able to give a accurate answer. Could you help me what is the proper answer for it ? "What is TOD and How do you perform TOD? And what is ther difference with TOE"? Also the answer is same for Sox & IA or it is different.
