What should an effective retake plan look like after a frustrating CPA near-miss?

A real Reddit thread titled 'Just got out of REG and I am devastated' raised this CPA planning issue in a practical way. I want the exam-relevant version of the problem using the actual source signal instead of vague forum reassurance.\n\nSource context: I studied all of the topics except for the one that appeared the most in MCQs. Idk if I passed and I don’t honestly think I did. The annoying part is waiting for the score so I can retake. Man oh man. Should I study the next section in the meantime while also micro studying REG?
